There is this hobby of mine: if I had a lot of money I would spend a great deal shopping via internet. I have loved it since the beggining. The finds, the difficult sizes, the "weird" designers.

Obsessive compulsive for Gucci

It´s been a while since I had a "crush" on a specific design or concept.  Alessandro Michele is my new found hero! I just loved the whole s/s16 collection. I want a pair of kangaroo fur-lined loafers- so bad.  Everything is sensual, subtle, naughty and nice. The flower tiaras, lace up shoes with little bows. Standing ovation.

London Fashion Week

This was my first time to this Fashion Week. Nothing unusual or different. The same circus and depotism. The only difference is that London has the new talents, experimental designs. It gives opportunity for new designers to rise. It´s not haute coture or elaborate well constructed ideas, but it´s fun, and who knows, maybe some of the new "stars" will continue in the long run.

The best part of LFW was the Burberry show, by far. Christopher Bailey outdid himself once more. Amazing everything,!designs, show and, of course, front row!

Inspiration high

There are some days in life that you get the chance to meet someone who gives you an "inspirational high" This was the day for me. I met a 23 year old philosophic creative genius. Here a little taste of his work:

At last! A dream come true. And so I hear it´s not easy to get a press pass for LFW.  Well I did it, A year and a half of hard work at the magazine, exclusive articles, writing stress & big time anguish each month.....but here it is: the prize.

the “real person” living an impossibly glamorous life

A happy time you recall but never experienced.  Now thanks to instagram, tumblr & pinterest we can make this a reality.   I do see this vacation in another way, different from the way I saw it 5 or 10 years ago. How? seeing through the eyes of these social networks.

Has social media changed the way we perceive what sorrounds us? is doing yoga on the beach something to emphasise a lot about? 

This was just a very nice invitation to a very nice home at a very nice place.

skinny is fashion expensive

I always wanted to be skinny, ever since I had the first spark of vanity. I am very petite so it is more difficult for me to achieve the skinny look, I have to excersice every day & choose the right food. My obsession: looking good in jeans. Always looking for the right pair, perfect cut, european design, expensive, designer. My fashion mantra was: when I´m skinny I will just need a t shirt and a pair of jeans, maybe a navy blazer when it gets chilly, that was the vision of myself with the perfect bod.

I finally lost weight & clothes look great on me. The problem is....everything looks very good: leggins, jeans (every style, price and nationality) dresses, blouses....god! And so I realized, I don´t have the budget for a skinny body.

While in NY, one of the things I could do for hours is browse at magazines from every country, there is this certain feeling I get while I´m there...pure inspiration.
